Seriously though? No Mike Hampton Votes? I kid.

The real tragedy is Jim Edmonds. How did he not get 5% of the votes?

It's setting up Jeter for 100%

I guess in a world where somebody does not cast a ballot for Greg Maddux for the Hall of Fame, it's not that surprising that some dip**** would not vote for Griffey.

Yeah. Hopefully the 3 dip****s who didn't vote for Griffey will be falling off shortly.

Hopefully Raines and Bagwell get in next year. Bonds and Clemens got a decent % more than last year which is good to see.

Bagwell, Raines and Hoffman probably all going in next year. Will be interesting to see how many votes Pudge and Manny get next year.

I think the log jam will clear out in a few years leaving Jeter the perfect situation to be the first to 100%. I thought for sure Bagwell/Raines/Schilling would get and clear some space on the ballot. Nope its gonna be clustered even in Chipper-Thome's year (which also has Rolen and Andruw).

Griffey was way, way better than Jeter. Thinking that Jeter might get in with 100% when Mays and Aaron didn't? It would be a travesty.

And that's why the 100% thing continues.

Is Derek Jeter a HOFer? If your answer is yes, then he hsould get in 100%

Is that Ken Griffey, Sr.? It would be great to get another former Brave in the HOF!

I'd guess you could say there's been improvement if you're a glass half-full type. There were fewer IDIOTS that left Junior off after all.

A process that keeps either of those two (and many others over the years) from being elected unanimously is still a joke though.

Manny has the distinction of being the two-time drug test fail guy. There's absolutely no way he gets 5% in his first year.

Pudge SHOULD be automatic, unless people think of Palmeiro, Canseco, and A-Rod in the Texas days. That would really hurt Pudge.

Next year at minimum: Bagwell gets in. Raines likely gets in. Hoffman may move just under the 75%.

I think Schilling will make a big push next year. He may slip in next year. All of the Mid 90's to early 2000's dominant pitchers are in sans Clemens and Mussina. Maddux, Glavine, Smoltz, Unit, and Martinez are all in. Schilling should be in that group. Mussina seems to get a lot more favorability lately. Don't know if I'm ready to jump on the wagon just from numbers only.
