The goal is to try and beat DiMaggio's 56 game hitting streak. As of last season you could make two selections per day and if you didn't make a pick on a day your streak would still be active. Nobody has beaten the record yet. I believe a guy got to 49 or something last season. If enough people post here, could this be stickied? I made it to 20 or so last season. It seems so easy, but it's not at all.

Thanks and good luck!

It's really fun and only takes a couple minutes to do each day.

Additionally last season they had a couple nights where you pick 56 guys you think will get a hit and it rewards the top prize. I think someone got 50 out 56. I got 43.

Thanks. Sounds like fun and doesn't take up a lot of time. I'll check it out.

Version for 2014 is available. Rules appear to be the same. They have more prizes available this time around. I think you can start winning stuff at a 10 game streak.

I tried this for the first time last year and liked it. It can be very frustrating at times but it gives me something to root for on a daily basis. I think I was too aggressive last year picking 2 every day. This year I am going to try to get to 15 then just pick cabrera/trout when they face bad starters or days after they went hitless. Looking at the game logs neither went hitless 2 games in a row very often. I think Cabrera had a hit in close to 140 games last year. Might take Freeman a lot vs mediocre RH pitching.

Yeah picking match ups is a big key here.

I picked Freeman first and Heyward second. Does that put me at 0 or 1 (since my second pick got a hit)?
