55. Hector Olivera, 3B-LF
60. Aaron Blair, RHP
63. Ozzie Albies, SS
84. Kolby Allard, LHP
90. Touki Toussaint, RHP

Wow. Hector is still a prospect? And almost a top 50 one at it?

Lowest I've seen a group on Ozzie. I'm curious if Riley is gonna get any love for the top 50, though I doubt it based on the top 10 they put out after the season. 7 in the top 100 isn't bad (though Olivera is iffy).

Riley definitely won't be in the top 50. Baseball America is what I consider to be the most 'old school' ranking and the slowest to react to guys breaking out...thus the Albies ranking.

They seem to rank more on reputation than actual production or likelihood to become something.

Baseball America indicates that these prospects were included on at least one (of six) Top 100 ballots by their experts. In no particular order:

Austin Riley
Lucas Sims
Mallex Smith
Max Fried
Ronald Acuna

All the more impressive that so many have impressed at least some of the experts

What can you guys tell me about Acuna? I know all about the rest of the list, but this guy's name has popped up pretty frequently.

And some of those guys are just babies.

Mallex has really set himself up well. He's never been considered garbage, but he didn't touch the top 100 (from what I recall). Fried will be in the top 100 if everything goes well, as should Riley and Sims. I'm really excited for Sims.

Young, undeveloped and toolsey.

Still 18, R/R, 6-0, 180 and moved from GCL to Danville last year. Stole 16 bases in short season, played CF with only two errors.

And he seems to square up on a fastball pretty well.
