Wouldn't you have to get the top prospect one year in a row before you could do it twice?

Typically the top 3 international prospects are well known by scouts. You can jumble them up according to projection and with less info coming out within 2 years of a team signing them(oh Coppy, wherefor art thou), it's getting tougher to get info. That Podcast notwithstanding, the Braves will again sign a top 3 prospect for 2025.

The younger guys have struggled...Tavarez(I stubbornly think he's gonna be good), Glod, Benitez. Guanipa was raking before a hurt wrist sapped his power. All in all...I'm glad we're spending and it looks like the Braves are going to do well again in the next class.

Again. It depends on what /whos opinion you value more. deVries in number one for fangraphs. Doesn't really matter. I'm just glad the Braves are taking a shot at their perceived top international guy.

Yes. And he's also part of the reason we don't hear about 13-14 year old potential signings anymore. Rumor has it he was promised at 13. I don't know if Coppy was around then, but 13????
 
Pipeline says the Perdomo deal is worth $5 million, so it’s not the whole pool. Still $925k left to spend.

Mets signed another Vlad Gurrero kid for only 117k. How were we not on top of that. Speaking of which, does Andruw have any kids.

I’m going with Anferni Gonzalez, because he looks like a beanpole, suggesting he’s destined to be our Venezuelan, or rather, Also-Dominican Pedro.

It may sound dumb but word usually gets out a few years in advanced but are we linked to anybody for next year?
